I had the great chance to build the website of a lot of coaches.
For new coaches, my first few questions are:
- What is your strategy to find clients?
- Do you have an idea of how much you want to spend?
- Do you know what to put on your website?
The reason I ask these questions is simple: My ultimate goal with everyone coming to me is to help them find the tools and people for a budget that makes sense for the stage they are at.
And luckily, there is a very affordable solution for the 3 basic things you need when your start. You need:
- 1. A domain name.
Register a domain with NameCheap, it's one of the cheapest service, and a very popular one. (It's around $10 for a .com) - 2. A website tool or platform.
The cheapest solution that I knew is Carrd (For $19 per year, you can host a simple website using your own domain. You can choose from one of their templates, and modify the text and images.)
If you are ok with having a subtle banner on your website, you could use softr to build your website. No ads will be displayed, but a small banner like this:

- 3. People to help you when you get stuck.
If you have challenges in doing the technical things like pointing the domain name to your website service, or if you need help with the design of your website, you can go to Fiverr and find someone to help you. It starts at $5.
With these 3 services, and a bit of learning and patience, you can get your first website live.
I always advise people to launch quickly, and to improve their website over time.
